PURE - In High Spirits

More than 50 young creative designers will gather in the further expanded Spirit section at Pure this August 2007. In an adjoining hall of its own, Pure Spirit will bring exciting yet to be discovered labels, favourite names and exclusive brands that cannot be seen at any UK show.

Joining this season new additions include Criminal Clothing who will showcase a chic and feminine collection. With quirky punk influences they use a colourful palette with edgy prints and illustrations. Buyers will also be able to see their men's range, which is also punk inspired with air force and tailoring details, using metal yarns; Blood & Glitter who are known for their traditional jeans heritage will bring both their S/S 08 women's and men's collections. Indigo yarn and dyed jersey are used in tops accentuating the love for vintage denim. Graphics focus on the brands heritage with inspiration being drawn from its original crest logo. Rock 'n' Roll graphics continue to be a passion with casino influences featuring colourful summer prints; DPM Gold, high end label will also show their menswear collection and Lipsy will be launching the Lipsy Denim range that can be worn with signature tops and dresses reflecting glamour and youth.

Returning names De Puta Madre, creator taking inspiration from no guns and no drugs slogans, has over the years evolved as a well respected and recognized brand; Gestuz will be bringing a style of scandal and sweetness offering a breath of raw and rocket glamour. The S/S 08 collection is wild, but extremely charming, striking, sexy and laid-back; Eucalyptus show off a new S/S 08 collection that offers originality and quirkiness, focusing on feminine designs; presenting new ranges this August La Rocka! will bring a fresh life into rock & roll chic, with individual lines from singlets, tops and t's to knickers, jeans and skirts mixing and matching classic images from rock's past, present and future; and Mr Freedom will showcase fashion-conscious contemporary designs from striking T-shirts, hoodies and tops to sexy skirts, dresses, leggings and shorts.

New Accessory & Footwear Finds at Pure

On the entire upper level at Pure, running across the two ready-to-wear halls, Pure Accessories will again showcase a comprehensive collection from fine jewellery to fashion gems, flat soles to stilettos, belts and hats to wraps, oversized shoppers to luxurious evening bags, and every day pouches to match any given occasion. Key signature brands showing include; Irregular Choice; Fly London; Holster; Melissa; Ophelie Hats; Salvador Sapena; Terry De Havilland; Azuni, Royal Belts; Billy Bag and Strutt Couture among its more than 350 brands on show.

Presenting a diverse mix of the new, individual and popular, this August's accessories level will house the biggest Spring/Summer collection to date. Shoe and accessory brands showing at Pure are rapidly increasing, as new talents take their stand to present their S/S 08 collection.

Sam Ubhi Signature Range; launching at Pure, will include belts, oversized shoppers, luxurious evening bags, and every day pouches. Using fluid and heavy chain mail, these individual designs come in a wide array of jewel colours, classic blacks and metallic with modern touches and traditional eco-friendly materials.

Pure sees the launch of the Sis Star brand showing a mix of contemporary sports styling with influences of edgy funky glamour. The range includes fashion-conscious bowling bags in silver and gold.

Foxy Originals; invites you to step into the jungle with its newest and most adventurous jewellery collection to date, the Royal Safari, guaranteed to release the animal in you!
A Canadian brand, new at Pure, dedicated to create fun, quirky and affordable jewellery suitable for most occasions, adding colour and prints to innovative designs.

Newcomer Creative Dezigns from South Africa presents 4 collections: Brass Images; Creative Copper, Jumali and O' So Prety. All collections are hand-made and routed in the history of a nation proud of its creative and artistic heritage, versatile throughout the day.

Suki Lau, a fresh new talent will bring smooth colourful jewellery adding a touch of chic to any outfit for women of all ages.

Nougat Accessories is launching its new accessory collection using semi-precious stones and delicate wood block patterning evoking a contemporary North-African feel.

Additional new brands displaying quality and eye-catching designs are; The Branch, presenting a British jewellery collection; 100% Shoes, an Italian newcomer and matt & nat, from Canada, showing a balanced bag collection, embodying diverse cultural influences.

Pure will see the biggest S/S 08 edition to date. Offering three times daily catwalk shows visitors can absorb the seasonal trends, and trend talks, like Drapers' fashion forecasts, who together with leading figures offer exclusive insights. Pure will be packed with over 800 fresh collections throughout its four halls of fashion and accessories.
