The Train/The Box Tradeshow
Completes Second Season in Chelsea, New York

The Train, a fashion and lifestyle trade show, and The Box, an iconic accessories show that originated in Paris, came together Sunday, September 20 till Tuesday, September 22 2009 in New York City.
This international tradeshow was held at the historic Terminal Warehouse located in the heart of the West Chelsea gallery district alongside Rendez-Vous and D&A tradeshows.
Attracting a total of 2,400 attendees this season, The Train/The Box offers a mix of fresh and exciting merchandise and is a unique experience to buyers and exhibitors alike.

The Train has introduced beauty and lifestyle product classifications. The Engine, a special area designated to emerging talent, showcased special guest Keith Lissner from Bravo's The Fashion Show among many other talented new brands from Paris to New York to Korea.

The Train offers a wide mix of cultural elements, including music, art and food. For the first time in New York The Train partnered with Nylon Magazine to feature a relaxing lounge with complimentary services to make the shopping experience more enjoyable: an on-site concierge provided by Quintessentially, a beauty suite for quick hair blow-outs at Tela Design Studio by renowned stylist Philip Pelusi and massages by Equinox. This is not an average trade show.

The Train/The Box creates an elegant environment for buyers to shop for their stores. The show was designed by Wade & Strauss, the team who has created sets for Vogue, Elle, Annie Leibovitz, Bergdorf Goodman and other fashion clients. The Train showcases more than 100 exhibitors including Repetto, Alexander Koutny, Anaessia, BGN, Eros, Robin, Institute of Dress and for the first time partners with GenArt to showcase fresh faces in fashion Cloak & Dagger.
