Luis Buchinho Collection F/W 2010

The Winter collection 2010/2011 of Luis Buchinho represents the eccentricity of 70s mixed up and suited to the strict minimum and androgynous style of 90's.

The designer works the long and narrow silhouette in "I" and inverted "Y" shapes, which have as result such pieces as bellbottom trousers, draped short falsely long dresses and sleeveless jackets. The concentrated shades mix up fake black colors such as dark chocolate, petroleum black, olive green and the true intensive black.

This density is underlined by the paradox between the strong materials such as leather, compact wools and the delicacy of lace, chiffon and lurex. Details of smooth leather, pleats and lace are encrusted in addition to general and pure lines of these items of the winter 2010/2011 collection, which make it more sophisticated and complex.

This Fall-Winter 2010/2011 collection will celebrate the 20-years of career of Luis Buchinho. During this season various events will be organized to mark these 20 years. The first surprise will be held during the Paris fashion show where a line of accessories will be presented - shoes, bags, belts and leather bracelets. For that occasion, the designer will also release a special line "Luis Buchinho Special Edition" with new exclusive items as well as new editions of some classics of the brand.
