Livingroom is a selection of international designer ready-to-wear and accessories brands within the trade show "rooms", one of the most up-to-date fashion fairs at Tokyo, organized by the Japanese company HP France since 2000. Livingroom, a SODES trade show (producer of Prêt à Porter Paris, The Train and Platform 2 in New York), was launched in September 2005 with the support of the French Federation of Women's Ready-to-Wear. The designers presented at Livingroom are selected by a professional team and an international agents network. Applicants are studied by a screening committee according to the following criteria: creativity, originality, collection and distribution quality. This showcase allows French and international designers to break into the Japanese market. Exhibitors have the opportunity to present and scatter their collections directly to leading buyers from selected shops and Japanese department stores. |
