The monochromatic black, worked like a living substance. An accumulation of shiny and matt (a flash of matt croco texture effect on a skirt in lustrous cashmere), sounding out its depths like a geologist.
Black and grey punctuated with muted colours: Empire yellow, old rose, blue-green.
More architectured than ever, silhouettes cultivate a graphic, slender line to the point of obsession.

A passion for couture constructions coiled in the hollows of a play of drapes in washed Duchess satin, and in the slightly martial daintiness of little Hussar-style jackets.

The opulence of embroidery worked in layers of materials, emphasising shoulder or wrist, as in a court dress. Favours, embossed features, smocked breitschwanz cuffs, jewellery-like fourragère cords decorated with metal beads clasping a drape or ruff in foliated felt or organza.

In July 2005, Christophe Josse presents his first couture collection under his name in Paris. Since January 2006 Christophe Josse has been invited by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture to present his collections the official Haute Couture calendar.

In January 2008 he opened his atelier and showroom on the prestigious rue Saint-Honore to welcome an ever increasing cosmopolitan and international clientele.
Christophe Josse has become synonymous with elegant sensual creations. Everything is lightness and delicacy, both in the refined colours and the fluidity of the fabrics, ineffable notes that confer a supreme elegance. He offers the sophisticated, dynamic woman silhouettes which are both modern and timeless, seductive and essentially wearable.
