1989-2009, PREMIERE CLASSE is 20! 20 years during which accessories have become
noble and true fashion accessories. PREMIERE CLASSE has helped them develop,
define their market and structure the retail network, and given them an
authentic image to the eyes of the fashion professionals and medias.
For this special edition, 315 very carefully selected brands will unveil
their Spring-Summer 2010 collections, from friday, October the 2nd, to monday, October the 5th.
SPRING/SUMMER 2010 TRENDS FOR ACCESSORIES
This session pays a tribute to classicism. Good old basics adopt a sober look, going back
to original shapes, which had made them safe bets...
Back to basics! Given the harsh economic context, designers and customers take refuge in
safe bets. Some have given up eccentricity, but not creativity. Concepts of tradition,
simplicity and authenticity are rediscovered, halfway between precious materials and authentic know-how.
Contrasting with this trend, an escalation of creativity can be witnessed. Already initiated
last season, this spirit of revolt is very real. Designers are gaining their independence;
they crave for a total freedom of expression, whether it be with heels for shoemakers,
textile for bag designers or ultra-daring animal prints.
Color wise, no more garish tones. Colors become soft and natural, in shades of brown, natural orange, blue and earth.
You'll find all the major trends selected by the Première Classe team in the catalogue available at the welcome desk.

Space design's theme PREMIERE CLASSE SPACE DESIGN
During four days, the tent in the Jardin des Tuileries will be turned into a showcase of elegance,
luxury and voluptuousness... A totally new and exclusive design based on the theme of the very casual
"shopping bag" that can look like a gorgeous box or very sophisticated bag in a luxurious context...
For Pierre-Louis Mascia, the author of PREMIERE CLASSE's visual identity and space designer for eight
years, it's also the opportunity to go back to basics and reuse the collage techniques that have been
his signature work since the beginning.
Exposition AN EXCLUSIVE INSTALLATION BY CYRIL LE VAN
To celebrate PREMIERE CLASSE's 20th birthday, visual artist Cyril le Van wanted to pay a very personal
tribute to fashion accessories. Using his favorite technique, printed canvas, he made a full-scale work
featuring chrome-plated and silver accessories hanging from black and white clothes.
Cyril le Van spent his childhood near Paris but now works and lives in Toulouse. Lieu Commun, Rio Loco
festival, the Lyons Biennale have already exhibited his work. A new exhibition will soon be opening at... Colette's.
