CURVExpo is currently putting the finishing touches to both its Shows, CURVENV Las Vegas and CURVENY New York which will respectively open their doors onto the Fall-Winter 2009 collections on February 16 thru Feb, 18 in Las Vegas at The Venetian and on February 22-24 in New York at the Jacob K. Javits Center.

Following up on Lingerie Amerikas' decision to cease its operations in the US, CURVExpo is asserting itself as the only professional show for designer lingerie and men's underwear in North America with a presence in two premier markets, Las Vegas and New York.

Out of approximatety 200 exhibiting brands total on each coast, 19 new brands will show for the first time in Las Vegas and 25 In New York. The men's section is becoming more important with each new session. It will count 14 brands in Las Vegas and 11 in New York.

Beside corsetry and foundations, the categories present include daywear, homewear, loungewear, nightwear, shaptwear, resort and beachwear, swimwear, men's underwear, hosiery, maternity fashion, slimming and support garments. More and more brands move beyond their primary specialty to offer retailers complete lines.

During this trying period the entire industry, world leaders as well as upcoming designers and stylists of wardrobe basics are rallying to overcome the current challenges and offer customized services to retailers and department stores buyers.



As of now, they are ready for immediate deliveries and other facilities to support retailers and keep them afloat. Visitors' pre-registration levels are satisfactory and brand representatives report to be fully booked for the duration of both shows!

CURVExpo is doing its share to support its partners: A series of special events have been scheduled to entertain and inform:

- CURVENV Las Vegas is planning a special cocktail hour from 6 to 8 hosted by Ms. Josie Cruz Natori who will introduce her new collections on February 16 in the luxurious Marco Polo room of The Venetian. Informal modeling and a raffle will take place during this time.

- A seminar on February 17 at 10:00am will help all make sense of the current economic climate: "Navigating the Storm" moderated by Eilen Lewis with the participation of Chantelle, Wacaol America and Cosabella will offer suggestions and recommendations to precisely do that.

- At last, the CURVE party that will include a fashion show which is scheduled for February 17 between 9:30pm and 11pm at Blush in the Wynn Hotel. Participating brands are Zinke Designs, Bravado! Designs, Julie France, Donna Di Capri, Filibustine, Corin, Janine Robin and Eveden.
