Tim Van Steenbergen Collection S/S 2011

The women's collection spring/summer 2011 tells the story of the lady gardener and has been designed in the atmosphere of Robert Mapplethorpe's flower images. Fragments of flowers are coming alive in dresses, some even literally take the shapes of flower leaves.

A woman loving to work in her flower garden at the weekend, in her fancy summer dress, with her boyfriend's sweater loosely knotted around her waist.
A variety of textures is created by combining embossed cotton and leather, Jacquard Jersey, cool wool, linen, classic crepe wool, structured bouclette, summer fur, leather look, mousseline, silks, bleach effect and exclusive prints.

Solid colors as green, grey, beige and tobacco are in contrast with black and white and graphic stripe constructions.
A "luxury countryside" feeling, light and refreshing, emphasizing a contemporary female elegance.

This collection especially consists of a series of structured and detailed dresses, from daily over cocktail to evening wear. Every dress comes in a little black - dress version; as a key piece in every woman's wardrobe.
Skirts come in different lengths, from ultra short to ankle length. Jumpsuits, shorts and body stockings can be combined with different tops and boat-neck knitwear.
Straight cut blazers and easy shirt jackets can be worn casual or dressed up. Accessories are corset belts, shawls and embroidered pearl brooches.

A series of luxurious Theo sunglasses by Tim Van Steenbergen and shoes Tim Van Steenbergen - handmade by Ambiorix complete this collection.
