Be the first to discover the new world of young intimates and swimwear
designers at MODE CITY 2011. Limited Edition, a dedicated area for young designers at the heart of
the fair, with completely new show designs to promote the treasures of tomorrow.
Your opportunity to discover, in the same area, new trends, innovative,
unique, smart collections, often limited editions.
There will be Limited Edition exchange workshops several times a
day, where young designers will present their vision to their future
buyers; there will also be relaxation areas such as the tea rooms, for
discussing business in pleasant surroundings.

In July, MODE CITY will join forces with the Trend Union office to
offer an original experience at the heart of intimates and swimwear
trends for summer 2012.
Trend Union, present on all five continents, creates presentations
of unique trends for special occasions. Known for its spectacular
audiovisual fashion and lifestyle displays, this is the first time Trend
Union is expressing its vision of the major trends of tomorrow for
the core market identity and consumer behaviour.
On the theme of Eden, Trend Union is creating a wonderful journey
of discovery for the senses: embracing bodies, highlighting forms,
glorifying the skin and boosting the silhouette.
L’ULTRA, an exceptional fashion catwalk show
This catwalk show is the occasion for
clothes makers and the major intimates
and swimwear brands to combine their
know-how during a catwalk show of
50 prototypes around a common theme,
"Holiday Diary", played out against three
backgrounds: Oriental Desires, African
Dreams and Treasures of Polar Nights.
This sublime catwalk show rewards the
inventiveness, creativity and know-how
of the participants with various awards
which will be presented by the Ultra
Ambassador. Seven hundred VIP buyers
will be invited to Place Vendôme on
Saturday 9 July 2011.

SETTING COURSE FOR CANADA TO CELEBRATE THE DESIGNER OF THE YEAR : SHAN
For this event, MODE CITY is putting the spotlight on the Canadian brand created
by Chantal Lévesque in 1985. Since then, Shan has been promoting the culture
of talent, performance and creative passion.
Present around the world in more than 400 prestigious outlets from Bon Marché
to Saks Fifth Avenue, the brand produces all its Men’s and Women’s collections
in Quebec, the home of its headquarters and a production workshop.
Shan, the creator of the "Resort wear" concept, stands out due to the breadth
