With her fall/winter 2015-2016 collection, Black Rainbow, Fatima Lopes chooses to play a sophisticated and contradictory game.

With her both architectural and deconstructed, asymmetrical and curvilinear silhouettes, she designed the conquering look of a new Amazon. The choice of noble and skilfully mixed materials underlines how intense the gradation in colours is: shades of deep purples, dry and soft greens, and organic and sharp blues for a subtle and refined range.

When furs are as one with dresses and coats, leather hyphenates this collection from mere detail to second skin. Silk and cashmere blend in each other and lace adds a woman's touch to the tall and structured silhouettes dear to the designer. Dresses are superimposed on trousers and jackets on dresses, cloaks are worn on the shoulders, and the combinations are double, half-trousers, half-long dresses, fatally easy and chic, for a modern and independent woman.

With her second collection of stilettos, the designer underlines the topic of the show and frugally distils in it an outrageously graceful Black rainbow. Fatima Lopes here has wanted to give a tribute to women's paradox in all its strength and frailty, such as the great Paris Iron Lady, the Eiffel Tower, that welcomed this fall/winter 2015-2016 collection.
