The famous Russian designer Valentin Yudashkin presented his new collection Autumn-Winter 2010-2011 at the Carrousei du Louvre, Paris. Valentin Yudashkin is inspired by the national Russian costume from the era of "Ivan the terrible", especially of the shrouds and shoulder pads, back when they were embellished with pearls and precious stones. The looks of the collection are distinguished by the shape's sophistication and also by the modern techniques of the cuts and couture. Shoulders and spindle shaped waist are defined by a very structured Silhouette. Throughout this collection, Valentin Yudashkin emphasizes his work of superposition of different fabrics. The collection reveals a genuine handcrafted work similar to the basic cut of the corset or lingerie. The fabrics are chosen carefully, organza and silk for the lightness, velvet and cashmere for the nobility. The color's range: powdered shades of grey together with skated black which gives a vintage impression. The match between the tradition of the national Russian costume and the modern imprint of the 21st Century celebrates this collection.
