WHO's NEXT, the International lab for fashion trends, Paris, does not only present its Trend Catwalk but also sometimes introduces designers or labels within dedicated catwalk shows. The September 2006 issue of WSN showed for instance the Tara Jarmon and the ELLE Collection and additionally korean designer Son Jung Wan. The three collections will be presented within the next weeks on Fashionfreak !, starting here with Tara Jarmon.

The first one called "sporting club" plays on very chic striped prints, inspired by yachting. Knee-long dresses with braces and this summer's must-have: the combi-shorts. The second theme, "graduate party" is more formal. Silhouettes are inspired by the 50's, 60's and 70's, with a baby doll style. The third and last picture of the show is entitled "pool side", with more glamorous dresses, inspired by the 80's and by the great cocktail parties. The colours of these 3 lines are those of spinnaker sails: yellow, mahne blue, white; of freshly picked flowers: buttercups, roses, cornflowers, azalea and poppies; and the colours of cocktails: curacao, grenadine, lemon, mint green, blackcurrant, and liquorice black. Materials are light, pure and natural, from jersey to silk muslin and linen. |

The Brand In Paris, Tara Jarmon is located at the canal Saint-Martin's edge: a surface area of 2 000 square meters and a courtyard with a huge glass roof ceiling. At the center, a staircase leads to Tara Jarmon's universe. On the first floor, the heart of the activity : 47 persons. 12 professionals work in the style studio with Tara, editing a simple, smart and happy collection, made in accordance with the image of the brand. 12 others take care of the logistics of the stores : design, decorations, embellishment of the shop-windows. Management, accounts, distribution are also administrated here, under the careful and attentive supervision of David Jarmon. On the second floor, the show-room stretches over more than 300 square meters : a bright and luminous area which shows the lines of clothes to advantage. Here is the heart of Tara Jarmon, a place of intense activity, where creativeness and commercial reality merge to express the philosophy of the brand. Trend Information see Title-Page
